Tuxedo cats have a bicolor domestic cat fur color pattern. Tuxedo cats aren’t a cat breed but rather are cats that have a predominately black fur coat with a specific pattern of white spotting.
The fur color pattern of these cats is named after the fact that the cat has a black and white coat pattern that is similar to a black tuxedo worn with a white shirt.
With tuxedo cats, most of the body is black. The chest and paws, known as socks, are white. Sometimes the belly and chin are also white.

With the exception of some cats that have some white on their chin, nose, or forehead, the face of a cat with a tuxedo fur pattern is mostly black.
